About

Becoming Giulia was born in Florence, where my own journey from Julia to Giulia inspired a deeper appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship, and the art of living with intention. In Italy, jewelry is more than an accessory; it becomes part of your history, carrying memories from one generation to the next. That philosophy is at the heart of everything I create.

For over eight years, I have dedicated myself to the craft of fine jewelry. I am a Graduate Jeweler certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where I developed a strong foundation in fine jewelry construction, repair, gemstone setting, and manufacturing. Alongside my professional experience, I am completing my MFA in Jewelry at Alchimia in Florence, continuing to refine my craft in the city that has inspired artists and artisans for centuries.

Before Italy, I earned my bachelor’s in Art History from Loyola Marymount University, where I fell in love with the enduring beauty of Renaissance art and the stories preserved through precious objects. That appreciation for history continues to shape my designs, blending timeless elegance with modern sentiment.

Every piece is created with the hope that it becomes part of someone's own bella storia: a proposal under the stars, an anniversary remembered forever, or a quiet reminder of becoming the person you were always meant to be. I believe the most meaningful jewelry is not only beautiful, but deeply personal.

As the Italians say, ogni gioiello racconta una storia—every jewel tells a story. I hope Becoming Giulia becomes a small chapter in yours.

Sempre con amore,
Giulia
